2. Scope and Definitions
This privacy policy applies to all services offered under zerlo.net, including language versions, tools, web services, and the login area. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
3. Collection and Processing of Personal Data
3.1 Server Log Files
When you visit the website for information purposes only, we automatically process technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser type, operating system, and transferred data volume. This is used to operate the website, ensure security, analyze errors, and technically optimize the service.
3.2 Registration and Login
To use our AI tools and editor, we may process the following data:
- First and last name
- E-mail address
- Password in encrypted form
Sign-in via Google is optional. In that case, we receive only the released user identifier and the profile data you approve for sign-in. Processing is carried out to provide the user relationship and the requested functions.
3.3 Contact Form
If you contact us through a form, we process your name, e-mail address, and the content of your message in order to handle your request and answer follow-up questions.
4. Cookies, Tracking, and Google Services
In particular, we use:
- necessary cookies for session management and essential website functions,
- optional analytics cookies for audience measurement and statistical evaluation,
- optional marketing cookies and comparable third-party technologies only with your consent.
You can reject cookies via the banner or later delete or block them in your browser and device settings. Individual website functions may be limited as a result.
4.1 Information on Google Services
If Google services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads or Google AdSense, and Google Tag Manager are integrated on our website, Google may process information when pages are accessed, tags are triggered, or ads are delivered.
Depending on the integration, this may include in particular:
- IP address and rough location information derived from it,
- visited pages, referrer URL, and date and time of access,
- cookie IDs, advertising IDs, consent information, and device and browser information,
- interaction, analytics, reach, conversion, and ad performance data.
Processing may serve purposes such as analysis, measurement, audience determination, advertising, personalization of ads or content, conversion measurement, and fraud and abuse prevention.
If Google Analytics is used, Google states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses for traffic from the EU, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. In those cases, the IP address may be used only to derive rough location before being discarded immediately.
Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags. According to Google, Tag Manager itself does not collect visitor-related data other than aggregated diagnostics about tag firing and standard HTTP logs; however, tags loaded through Tag Manager may themselves process data.
Where consent is required, we use these Google services only after you have consented. You can withdraw or adjust any consent at any time with future effect through the banner or your browser and device settings.
